Deep in a sunny Sicilian villa, Antonio is busy playing a calculated game to climb the social ladder and crown himself the man of the house. He’s an opportunist trying to work his way through all the women, faking love for the naive Cecilia while secretly trying to charm her mother, Donna Carmela—the villa's true power. He even tries his luck with the observant maid, Rocío, but he totally underestimates them. Thanks to her mother’s cold realism and Rocío’s quiet wisdom, Cecilia finally snaps out of it.
